I’m a native Southern Californian and a 36-year veteran of the awards and engraving industry.

Over the years, my title of “Stunt Engraver” has been earned by taking on particularly unusual and difficult projects, quite often, working behind-the-scenes for my fellow engravers.

Talking shop and exchanging ideas with people in the industry has always been a passion. That passion has led to my becoming a business owner, published author, seminar speaker and founder of Engraving Etc., arguably the most popular and active online educational resource for the industry.

My hope for this blog, is to encourage people to join the awards and engraving industry. It’s a creative and profitable profession, where you’ll meet some of the nicest people in the world.
